Backspace key == back to last page? Very unfortunate
-
I have noticed that on MacOS (unlike on Linux) the backspace key has the same functionality as Cmd-Left, i.e. goes back to the last page.
I don't think that this is a good idea. At least I'd like to be able to unconfigure this. The reason I don't like this is the following: the recent macbooks all struggle with palm detection on the touchpad. Hence when writing many people trigger unwanted mouse clicks. I have had this several times: while writing, a false mouse click was emitted, mouse selects something beyond the text area, focus in text area gone, I press backspace in order to delete text, browser navigates to the previous page, composed text gone.
I guess you get the story
Anything I could do even now? Maybe a hidden option?

@mbert Wrong Adress Bert: How to report a bug (if youre sure it is one. ^^)
-
@mbert You should be able to clear the Backspace shortcut for History Back. I kept only Ctrl+Left and Z
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb (WinSPRLevel = 5.9) on Win 10 64-bit 1909 build 18363.657 • Snapshot 2.11.1811.28 (64-bit)

@mbert Just delete Backspace from History Back under Settings > Keyboard > Page.
It's not a bug though - using Backspace for Back has been common for browsers for a very long time. Although I think MSIE started this "bad habit"...

On Windows (Sorry, have no Mac) i klick
V > Extras > Settings > Keyboard. There I can change the shortcuts. -

Thank you, found it. That solves it.
