Thousands of code cache files.

Can anyone tell me why there are so many files here?
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Default\Code Cache\js
It's not just me, other folk have them too.
Is there a way to have the browser delete them ? -
@stapp Please see my reply in: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/38970/user-data-default-code-cache-js-bloated-folder
You can delete the files by using Tools > Delete browsing data from the menu or Ctrl-Shift-Del and selecting Cache+Application Cache.
You can also delete the files manually when the browser is closed. I use a custom option in CCleaner to purge this folder regularly, for some reason it doesn't clean it by default.
