400 bad request NBA League Pass
-
I get "400 bad request. your browser sent an invalid request" when I try to login to NBA League Pass.
I'm using Vivaldi 20.10.1745.27 on macOS Mojave. I don't know if this is a Mac only issue.

Hi! Try the following:
- Check your cookie settings under Privacy > Cookies. Make sure you're allowing third-party cookies.
- Disable all extensions (Menu > Tools > Extensions) and try again.
- Try in Guest View to exclude any settings/extensions.
-
I received a similar message; deleting extensions resolved this issue!

I'm allowing third party cookies.
I've tried disabling all extensions.
It works in guest view.
It also works every time I log in for the first time, but when I return later on to stream another game I get the error message. -
@alexander-koll If it works in Guest mode then something in your profile is interfering. Either settings or extensions or something else. But you've excluded extensions and cookie settings, so not sure. Maybe your profile is somehow broken, it might happen rarely.
I don't know Macs, but to verify launch Vivaldi with the argument:
vivaldi --user-data-dir=$TMP/vivaldi
This will in effect be a clean profile. If it works there as well, then maybe the only solution is a clean profile:
https://help.vivaldi.com/article/full-reset-of-vivaldi/
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/10388/refreshing-or-cleaning-your-profileYou should also do the following:
- Contact the site and ask for help. After all, you are a paying customer. Often this is useless, but sometimes you get a support person who actually know their stuff.
- Report the bug to Vivaldi with all the information needed to consistently reproduce the issue:
https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/
It might be a Mac-only thing, and this would help the team to figure out what's wrong.
Another thing to do:
- Open DevTools (F12)
- Select the Network tab
- Reproduce the issue
- Look for red lines with Status=400
- Click the line, and select the Headers tab on the right
- Copy all the data from the Headers tab and paste it here in a ```code``` block or for instance on pastebin.com. Make sure to check if username/password is in the text under "Form data", if so remove it.
- The same data could also be included in your bug report by email after you've reported it (reply to the email).
FYI, I just tested signing up with a disposable email and logging in worked fine, but I'm on Windows 10 and I didn't sign up for a plan.

@alexander-koll First of all, go to Extensions in the Tools menu and make sure to Remove the uBlocker extension. It no longer exists on the Chrome store, and all clues point to it being malicious.

https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/271511Then test again. Then maybe install a good and trusted adblocker like uBlock Origin.
Also, did you test any of the things I suggested?
-
Removing uBlocker didn't seem to do anything. I've filed a bug report and e-mailed a Developer Tools log.
