BUG: Setting ALT+F4 or SHIFT+ALT+F4 as a hotkey works but it still acts as exit...

Setting ALT+F4 or SHIFT+ALT+F4 as a hotkey works but it still acts as exit. Please fix so it won't act as exit if set as a hotkey.
Vivaldi can simply fix this problem by intercepting any hotkeys that are set in Vivaldi, and prevent them from being passed onto Windows. Vivaldi has proven that it can already intercept such hotkeys, by allowing them to be set in the first place.
[bug reported VB-60364]

@TsunamiZ Along with Shift+F10, I think these keys are reserved by Windows. The settings dialogue should perhaps not allow them to be assigned. However, it might be more useful if they could override the Windows shortcuts. I wonder how it is on Linux or Mac?
I reported this bug two years ago.
(VB-35751) Shift F10 can be assigned but does not work

@Pesala …but e. g.
Win+Shift+C
gets blocked as “already reserved by the system” (on Win; I don’t remember any system shortcut like this).On Linux
it differs: IIRC, under XFCE the DE/WM (understand “system”) shortcuts were overridden,with HerbstluftWM I cannot even assign them 'cause it doesn’t let the keypresses get to Vivaldi. Oh wait, this behavior was maybe also under XFCE… I’m not sure, let me check.Edit: so the keypress doesn’t get to Vivaldi (HerbstluftWM, XFCE, KDE).

@potmeklecbohdan On Windows I was able to assign WindowsKey+N to New Window, and it worked, but WindowsKey+D gets intercepted and minimises all apps to show the Desktop, so it cannot be assigned.
WindowsKey+N is displayed a Meta+N

In Vivaldi 3.7.2218.45, the bug VB-60323 [aka VB-60364] was claimed to be fixed but it really is not. And I am very disappointed at how lazy of a fix attempt it is. All that was changed was adding a message that prevents ALT+F4 from being set as hotkey, saying it is reserved by the system. But all other hotkey combinations that include ALT+F4 in them still acts as exit, such as SHIFT+ALT+F4. Please fix it properly, by at least allowing the other hotkey combinations that include ALT+F4 in them.

In Vivaldi 4.1.2369.11, the bug VB-60323 [aka VB-60364] was claimed to be fixed but it really is not. We are still not able to set ALT+F4 or SHIFT+ALT+F4 as a hotkey. When we try, we just get a message saying it is reserved by the system. Please fix it properly, by allowing hotkey combinations that include ALT+F4 in them.
