Flash player won't start on my 2.9 version
-
After last updates I noticed that Flash Player doesn't work anymore on my Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit).
Flash is enabled for all websites in settings panel. Also, if I right-click on the page and select "Run this plugin", nothing happensI tried different tricks that I saw in an older post here (around April 2019), but nothing seems to work. They was related to the 2.7 version.
Here the path where Flash Player is installed:
/usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libpepflashplayer.soAny clue?

On Ubuntu 16.04 I have executed the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jonathonf/pepperflashplugin-nonfree
sudo apt update
sudo apt install pepperflashplugin-nonfreeThen I restarted Vivaldi, but the flash plugin doesn't start as before... : (
As I written, the plugin is enabled as global option, as well as on the specific site.
Any other idea? -
@Gwen-Dragon said in Flash player won't start on my 2.9 version:
@gimpo Perhaps you should remove the adobe-flashplugin. One is enough.
sudo apt purge adobe-flashplugin
Oooops!
After purging and restarting Vivaldi the flashplayer animations works!
Yeah!Thanks a lot.
