Disney Plus Not Supported
-
Pretty much I can't get Disney Plus to play. It just gives Error 83
"This means we experienced an unknown error streaming to your device. This is typically a device compatibility issue, connection error, or account issue. "
Works perfectly fine on Firefox and Chrome for me. Same addons uBlock

Hey, dealing with the same problem. Running the most current version of vivaldi plus that version of Widevine DRM (4.10.1582.2). Still getting code 83 on the site, even in private window mode. The only extension I left active was LastPass, which I highly doubt would impact a video player

Problems with Disney+
-
I'm getting the same error with Vivaldi but it works fine in Chrome so I'm guessing it's not a service issue.
-
It's standard procedure:
- Disable all extensions
- Try in a Guest Profile
- Try with User Agent Spoofing, if it works then they use scripts to detect browsers.
- Make sure Widewine DRM is updated.
- Test in one of the many HTML5 Video test pages.
I'm sorry to have to say this but you guys using walled-off pay-for-view services need to get in touch with the service and let them know they have paying customers, who are not using one of the big four browsers, and want to use their site without having to change browser. These sites don't give a s--- about the little guy until enough people makes them take notice.
I want you to get up right now. Sit up. Go to your windows. Open them and stick your head out and yell – ‘I’m as mad as hell and I’m not gonna take this anymore!’ Things have got to change. But first, you’ve gotta get mad!…

@Gwen-Dragon Widevine is up to date and in a private window, still Error 83.
-
I got it to work on Chrome for about 20 minutes, then it froze and gave an Error 83. Now it gives me the same Error 83 as all the other browsers do and I'm back to square one. I'm just going to cancel the subscription.

Not working for me either. Think it has something to do with widevine L1 support (or lack thereof in Vivaldi) and it may be connected with why amazon prime doesn't work here vs chrome
-
@IkeKap that makes sense. I have Chrome solely for Amazon Prime because it wouldn't work with Vivaldi, now Disney+. If Chrome wasn't such a resource hog I'd just switch back to it as my only browser.
