Weird black bar occuring
-
Sometimes, when using Vivaldi in as maximized Window, I get this strange black bar having two effects:
- it obviously prevents to see tabs and address bar anymore
- although the black area should be still part of Vivaldi window, by clicking into the black area I'm activating the top most window currently in the background of Vivaldi, so the click is falling through to the next window.

Some facts:
- This issue cannot be solved until a reboot of Windows.
- The issue occurs randomly at some point in time.
- For whatever reasons, this seems to only happen when attached to my office setup: HP Thunderbolt Dockingstation, with three displays attached (two via DP, one via-USB-to-DVI).
- Only the main screen is affected. Whenever this issue occurs and I move the Vivaldi window to another screen, the black area disappears. Moving it back to the main screen and the black area returns.
- When this occurs, all Vivaldi windows are affected, but only when maximized. Windows with variable size are not affected at all.
Any ideas??
Cheers,

Ok, tiny update:
I just found out, by changing the screen layout forth and back solves the issue as well. -
@davidrahusen This solution helped me fix the same issue. Was driving me crazy- my Vivaldi got the black bar yesterday and I was using Ctrl + M to try and see the top, and clicking would send me to whatever screen was right behind my browser. Thank you David for the easy solution.
