Easy way to enable|disable all shortcuts
-
Hello,
Vivaldi is my favorite browser, congratulations for the excellent work being done.
However, I miss an easy way to enable|disable all browser shortcuts. The reason is that because it uses virtually everything about the web: Messenger, WhatsApp and browsing, the browser is almost all day open on one of the monitors, and being open, it competes with other applications that have the same shortcuts and Hotkeys.

@jcfaria Yes, you can disable all shortcuts with a hotkey
In Settings > Keyboard > Page
Default is none so you need to set what you prefer first.

@jcfaria Tools/Settings/Keyboard

Enable Keyboard Shortcuts flag
-
You can create a Keyboard Shortcut at Page - Disable Keyboard Shortcuts
But I'm not sure how you enable them again (maybe the flag? ).

@TbGbe Yes "Disable Keyboard Shortcuts" is a toggle. It should be called "Toggle..."

But it'a also a keyboard shortcut - which should therefore be disabled

I guess it's a paradox

Hi,
Sorry everyone who responded, it may be stupid of mine, but I can't find the option to toggle (Enable|Disable) all the shortcuts. I am using Windows 10 with updated Vivaldi.
I searched in detail on all the options of the settings. What comes closest is Settings/Advanced/Shortcuts/Configure shortcuts. But I did not find the option you are indicating.
Can you give me any additional tips?

@jcfaria It seems you have the wrong "vivaldi". Try one from here:

Sorry!

ROFL!
my god -jokes aside- looking at that Opera settings
and UI page
reminds me why Vivaldi exists...
even that page with the limited shortcuts offering would not exist if we didn't bitch all the time about it in its early days, before migrating to Vivaldi... why don't they just let the name die and RIP... -
Apologizing to everyone who tried to help me.
Vivaldi installed, configured and set as default browser! Also solved the original problem of a shortcut to disable all shortcuts: another level Vivaldi settings.
Best,
