On page Translate option like in Chrome
-
Hi Team,
Please add the Integrated Google translate option where we can choose Translate Page to English option like we do in Chrome.

Vivaldi has no affiliation with Google and it can't be done without, probably, paying Google some royalties to be able to do that.
You, however, can use the Vivaldi search engines. I for example have this:Name: Translate url jp->en Nickname: ts URL=https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=%s&edit-text=
I use it to translate from japanese entire pages, just by prepending ts in the address field.

There's a simpler version too (I prefer to KISS) as you never know when the G will change the arguments:
https://translate.google.com/#auto|en|%s
From-language is auto, then to-language after the pipe
Probably some day we will get the option to customise the context menu, and maybe add our own custom commands.

@iAN-CooG thanks, now I don't have to install Chrome - where did you find query parameter documentation?
Page translation without Google is the holy grail right now
FYI https://duckduckgo.com/bang?c=Translation
Yours hopefully

Nowhere, I just derived the url from what was generated by google when translating a site page and replaced the site's url with %s
