@troypulk @bigbighill Stay on topic! This is a thread for Lastpass! Please open a extra thread for questions on Enpass.
Okay, @bigbighill pleaee post in the enpass thread https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/46065/no-support-for-password-android-autofill-api-3-0-enpass?_=1614530829288 and explain what you did, thanks

I've Tweeted LastPass and added a comment to the LastPass community forum.
LastPass replied to my Tweet with their default response, which is disappointing, feel free to join in on the thread please. Now seriously considering Bitwarden. Very frustrated by this issue.I moved myself and my partner from LastPass to Bitwarden a few weeks. Highly recommended others follow suit. It was very easy to move the contents of our separate LP vaults over to Bitwarden, it copied over without any issues.
The Autofill on Bitwarden works with Vivaldi on Android perfectly, and actually better overall across Android than LastPass.
Seriously, don't bother with LastPass, if you make the move from LP to Bitwarden you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner, instead of hanging on for LastPass to get their act together (nearly 3 years and counting on this issue), for an issue that having looked on GitHub at how Bitwarden fixed this issue on their end was a very easy fix.
Poor show LastPass !

In this video he says to drop Lastpass for security reasons.

@jane-n thank you!! I can't believe I missed this almost 1 year ago. Was just about to uninstal Vivaldi on my Android when I found your post
now working with 1password

We have some good news! We believe we've found a solution to the password manager compatibility issue. Please check out today's Snapshot and test if your password manager works with that Vivaldi version. In case you encounter any bugs, please report them directly on https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/.
-
@jane-n Wow... I never thought the day would come!
(slight exaggeration)Works seamlessly for me. Awesome, thanks!EDIT: No, it doesn't. I was logging into the Vivaldi site, but it doesn't match any other sites.
-
It works with few issuse on keepass2android
For exemple.
Login on Vivaldi forum.
I can only paste Username no chance to paste passwordOn other website i donte have problems
-
OK, I'm going to need to do some more testing.
When I was out just now, I was trying to renew a domain on hover.com and I found it didn't work. It wanted to use the Vivaldi passwords, as if I was in an app associated with those passwords, rather than a web browser where it would associate the URL.
So that's not great. -
This has gone live now, but it's still not working for me with LastPass - not on Vivaldi for Android 4 or with the latest snapshot.
-
Same, I reported using this form VAB-563
-
I've submitted ticket VAB-4091 because it's still not working for me.
-
@gwen-dragon I got the update 4.0 2313.15.
Still not fully working. The LastPass URL dialog box pops up but does not recognise the actual URL of the website.
-
@jane-n Thanks, Jane. I tried following the proposed instructions, but different versions of Android have different settings. I got close enough by using your settings, but found that the missing setting for me was to permit the Bitwarden app to "Draw over other apps". (Option can be found with the settings search facility, navigation to which can differ.)
Once I set that, I tested a login screen in Vivaldi on both droids (phone is Android 9, I think) and got a hover-over, "ghost" Bitwarden autofill "button" that when clicked, took me to the Bitwarden login for that site, and after clicking it, it auto-filled the credentials and off I went. Thanks for getting me where I can use Bitwarden! Lastpass did a decent job until the company made you select between EITHER desktop or mobile devices for the free account, but ya can't have both without paying the piper.

Still not working with recent update 4.0.2313.19.
LastPass is not recognising URLs from Vivaldi

Switching back to Google Chrome (mobile. & desktop), until bug can be fixed for LastPass mobile.

Hello,
You can use Enpass, it works great and it's offline too. -
@troypulk Thanks for the suggestion. I have been using LastPass for more than 7 years.
It would be good if someone from Vivaldi dev can update regarding this bug.
-
I tried boath Vivaldi and Vivaldi snapshot, both freshly installed from the apps store yesterday, none work with LastPass.
And good to see various suggestions here, bit there are reasons why I (we) use LastPass. We have a paid subscription, we share passwords. Other systems do not work for us (or that well).
Would love to give Vivaldi another go, but not having password on mobile makes life rather hard. Yes, I can launch LastPass and copy username and password over, but would love to see a proper solution.
If at least someone can confirm whether it's LastPass or Viavldi or both that need to make changes, that would be step forward. Since I pay LastPass money for a service, I will be onto them as well. Otherwise I would change to a solution that provides bertter service. Still need to check whether BitWarden would work, was quite happy with them a few years back, too. -
I'm still having this problem although with Keepass2Android. It won't show the autofill pop-up most of the time.

@christantoan KeePassDX is a good alternative KeePass compatible client for Android and it's working just fine with Vivaldi.
Just make sure to uninstall your other password managers in order for Android to properly handle the detection and filling of login fields.
