UI Animation issues
-
Hi. I'd like to present the problem, what Vivaldi has with animations. Due to the "shrink animation" of the rectangular icon, and the appearing and disappearing X sign (turned on as default. In Opera and Firefox it's always there on opened tabs), the animation of an moved tab stutters.
Opera, Chrome and Firefox seem not having this problem.
And why Vivaldi has an 7px bar over the tabs turned on by default? I think this should be off on a maximized window, in my opinion.Vivaldi, Opera and Firefox - animation comparison:

Disabling Settings → tabs → remove tab spacing on maximized windows doesn't help?

@rukh Hello there
just to avoid misunderstanding, you want to see close button (X) while hovering the pointer over the tabs, If so:
Alt+P >> Tabs → Tab Display enable Show Close Button

I know I can turn all the features off. That is why I mentioned, that this features are turned on by default.
That does not fix the problems with the slow and heavy animations. I tested it on AMD A6 6310, on my laptop. -

@rukh + Support. That's one of the reasons I don't use Vivaldi
