Bookmarks Menu Improvement
-
Does anyone else find having all the Bookmarks Bar items showing at the top of this menu awkward? I can access all of them from the Bookmarks Bar, and only use the menu if I want to get at a bookmark not in that bar, but I have to scroll down a long way to get at the folders with my other bookmarks.
My workaround for this is to move my other bookmarks in a folder above all the Bookmarks Bar items in the Manage Bookmarks window. Now that folder of other bookmarks is at the top of the window, but the folder also appears in the bookmarks Bar and takes up some valuable space.
I know this is the way it works in all Chromium based browsers. It would be nice if the menu could be arranged to show Bookmarks Bar items in a folder at the top, then my other folders of bookmarks I don't want in the bar below that. -
And now I've finally discovered the setting that lets me do it as I want. Put all Bookmarks Bar items in a folder in the Manage Bookmarks pane, name it as you like and select it in the Bookmarks settings. Easy when you know how!
