Does anyone here have experience with https://www.wilderssecurity.com ?
For some reason they don't like me posting valid replies to any threads, where I have some useful input.
At the point I made a thread asking how long til I am allowed to post, my account was banned for spamming.Is this a special group or clique that one must have a special handshake or display some sort of certificate to gain entry ?
Very confusing as I have never had such trouble in the past 20 years of IT support.

I have used it for reference for a long time. I keep up to date with the RSS feed.
Finally I thought I would join and contribute, so I did.I was very on topic with each post, such as someone asking for recommendations on text only browsers, where I said I was surprised nobody had mentioned Lynx, and provided a link to the official site.
Someone wanted recommendations for a replacement Youtube downloader.
In the thread finally someone posted the best standalone 3D Youtube downloader.
The thread starter asked if it can download playlists.
As there was no reply, I replied no it cannot, but the other build is made for batch downloading and provided a link to the official page.One of the news-hounds (probable a mod) posted a story about the lack of EV certificates in use with american banks.
I replied that as great as it would be to see all EV certs, but without users and sites all using DNSSec so DANE validation can be done, the certificate quality does not mean much if the domain does not match the registered IP.This is the sort of topics and replies I engaged in, yet somehow that made me seem like a spammer?
My signature, just as it does in many forums I use, has a link to the radio station page for my radio show.
If they object to new users putting links in their sig, they should disable the ability just the same as avatars are disabled. It is just a switch in the admin panel. -
@Dr-Flay I have never had an issue at their forum although if I am there it is usually for product support, or to get them to recognize Vivaldi with their products.

I have noticed Vivaldi get mentioned fairly often there :smiling_face_with_open_mouth:
I wanted to discuss topics they have yet to start, like OSINT services and software.
I can do that just as well at Bleeping Computer, Windows secrets or Ask Woody. -
i am having the same issue and i created a new account as i have been a member there for a couple of years and it will not let me register as it considers me a spammer.
Was there a solution to this please.?

Hey it's 2023 and the same thing happened to me. Posted 4 posts over the period of two days, all posts were on topic, but the mods never approved them, instead they just kept deleting them. Came back later to find I'd been banned for "spamming".
Really odd people tbh.

Hi 2025 and the problem still exist.
I have the same issue as above with registering and using Wilder security forums.
I tried back in 2023, then 2024 and 2025 and same issue, tried using clear IP address and also mobile phone with no VPNs.
Tried 3-4 different email accounts etc etc
Tried emailing the admin or asking members on there, but all my post get auto deleted and marked as spam.
I just gave up in the end, so I am glad I am not the only one.
The way I see it if they do not want useful help/info for their Community, it is their loss.
