Mac crashed twice using Hangouts extension

My McB Pro has completely locked up twice while using Google's Hangouts extension. Both required holding the power button down to shut it down.

Sadly only got to use Vivaldi for a few days and I like it but have to go back to Chrome until I can use Hangouts.
