Merge new bookmarks with Chrome from time to time
-
I use both Chrome and Vivaldi every day. Although I imported all bookmarks from Chrome when I first installed Vivaldi, over time they grew different, each browser gained some new bookmarks. How can I merge them again?
It's a question with 2 parts: 1. How do I merge Chrome's new bookmarks into Vivaldi? 2. How do I merge Vivladi's new bookmarks into Chrome?
I don't mind using some CLI scripts if there's no UI for it yet.
Thanks!

Although I respect your use of Chrome. I don't understand why?
The only way I know is to backup you Vivaldi bookmarks in html then import them
into Chrome from a saved document file. Or use copy/paste from one url bar to the
other when both are opened at the same time.I'm curious. Why do you use Chrome?
I haven't used Chrome in so long I don't remember using it.
The main reason I have Chrome installed is so it can take up disk space. Something has to. :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_closed_eyes: -
@Arrivest Export your Vivaldi bookmarks to make a backup, delete them all, then import your Chrome bookmarks again.
I don't use Chrome, but presumably you could do the same in reverse?

I feel your pain. I have other browsers on my work machine to test sites in, well, other browsers. In that case I pretend Vivaldi is my master so I always add stuff there, then export it to the others. I grew tired of having to manually go through what you are talking about. I would import the bookmarks from each browser into each other, then manually remove stuff. Manually edit stuff. Until finally all browsers had the same bookmarks.
At home and mobile I try to do the same thing. My mobile browser syncs to my desktop. I just have to manually add those into Vivaldi. One day this too can go away once Vivaldi releases a mobile version.

Teamsync Bookmarks would be useful to avoid manual and repeating steps.
