Flash content not playing in Manjaro linux.

I've installed Vivaldi in Manjaro linux and the flash content refuse playing.
I enable flash directly on the page not still not working. Then i installed the Flash player in the repository, but still not working.
Also the enable Flash option directly on the website it not staying set, i have to do it again when closing and opening the browser.

I don't know what to do anymore.

That is the way it works now, changes (to discourage flash use were introduced by Chromium).

But my Chromium flash works perfectly on the same system and i did nothing to enable it. Also works fine on Firefox.
Also i did another install on Ubuntu and Vivaldi Flash is working fine.
Seems the problem is Vivaldi on Arch Linux systems.

@philipc What version of Vivaldi are you on?
There was a flash bug in 2.4 which was solved in the 2.5 Snapshots.
As we are now at RC for 2.5, the new Stable should be available soon (hopefully before end of nest week). https://vivaldi.com/blog/snapshots/post-2-4-vivaldi-browser-snapshot-1497-4/

I'm on Mint not Arch so can't check that.

I fixed the issue by installing the Vivaldi-ffmpeg-codecs in the AUR repository from my Manjaro package installer!

@philipc Ugh... so in fact this was NEVER a flash problem at all, you'd simply omitted installing one of the fundamental packages needed? Sigh... it feels like you kinda mislead us right from the start.

FYI, a better method is to uninstall your current AUR Vivaldi packages, edit your /etc/pacman.conf to append these two lines:

[herecura]
Server = https://repo.herecura.be/$repo/$arch

...then install Vivaldi & its ffmpeg package via the herecura repo. This way you do not have to do any local compiling. This has been much discussed in both the Vivaldi & Manjaro fora... & the Forum Search function works in both.
