Today, I am finally (after 10 years in development) releasing my browser extension which saves you money shopping online.

I Vivaldi and got inspired to highlight all the features and push the limits of what's possible with this great browser.

What is it?

The goal of Qpongo is to have every coupon code for every site in every country and every language.

Features

• COUPON CODE AUTOFILL -- the problem with using promo, coupon and voucher codes is that they usually don't work. Qpongo supports more sites than anyone else by 2x -- more than 50k sites! Send me a PM with any problems or new sites that you want me to support and I'll get it fixed within 24 hours. Someday I will release a build with the 'training' feature so that end users can train themselves but not today.

• PRIVACY - anonymous, no tracking, self-auditing code, total transparency -- Best Privacy Policy Ever

  Designed from the ground up to be private & secure, ALL AUTOMATION IS DONE IN FRONT OF YOU -- I wouldn't trust the other software that clones your shopping cart to simulate things in some hidden sandbox that you can't see.

  Qpongo runs against a local list of sites that we support so there is no need to send messages back to our server for every web request (like the other guys do).

• LARGEST COUPON DATABASE -- I've been collecting coupons for 10 years and my extension has a built-in "Coupon Search" feature which gives you the power to search the web and compare the Qpongo database to other coupon websites. You'll have confidence knowing that there's no BBD (bigger, better, deal) to be found. The last coupon tool you will ever need.

• SMART PRIORITIZATION -- when you are in a store, Qpongo scans the page for coupon codes on items you're viewing so that those can be the first ones to try. In the example below we have nearly 5000 coupon codes for NewEgg.com (totally unusable) but Qpongo pulls codes from the screen and prioritizes them so that we can usually get the best code in the first try.
  For Amazon sites we also automatically click hidden coupons so that they are applied to things you look at. You are likely leaving money on the table when you buy from Amazon without Qpongo!

• WORLD-WIDE AVAILABILITY -- Qpongo has sites in more than 60 countries and already supports 23 languages -- English, Español, Deutsch, Русский, Français, Italiano, Svenska, Nederlands, Dansk, Polski, Suomalainen, Norske, Magyar, 中文, 日本語, 한국어, Português, हिंदी, Ελληνική, Українська , Český, עִברִית & Türk.

• MEMORY EFFICIENT -- the biggest complaint of our competition is that it slows down the computer. We don't waste cycles tracking you and our code is very tight. We do more with less -- our competitor's content script, the code that runs in every page, is HUGE! 159x larger than that of Qpongo!

Future (Vivaldi Specific Features)

• Automatically add Web Panel when installed -- need an api from Vivaldi to detect this or to get a list of panel urls

• Utilize Tab Stacks during coupon search

  Qpongo has a coupon search feature where it pulls up the top coupon search engine results then opens each coupon site in a new tab while it evaluates them.

  It would be a cool animation to see these sites open up in a Tab Stack -- need an api from Vivaldi to open a new window as part of a tab stack.

• Automatically Highlight or Open Web Panel when Qpongo can help.

  Right now Qpongo changes the toolbar icon color between grey and orange when you're on a web shop where Qpongo can help.

  It would be cool if Qpongo could change the web panel icon color or could open the panel when you get to a shopping cart page that has a coupon code text box -- need an api from Vivaldi to expand the web panel.
