Snapshot 1.0.219.34 - TP4 is just around the corner
-
Hi y'all, We have done a lot of work on bug fixing this last week, with fixes for double rendering, the dark theme, UI zoom, keyboard shortcuts, history, gestures, Speed Dial and more! Having spent the last few days killing many annoying issues, we are now really close to an updated technical preview. We hope to have a few more fixes but we think we are almost there. How is this build feeling for you? Are you aware of any major regressions since TP4? What do you think are the biggest outstanding issues with the newly introduced features? https://vivaldi.net/en-US/blogs/teamblog/item/37-snapshot-1-0-219-34-tp4-is-just-around-the-corner //Christian - Vivaldi Technologies - Stay Tuned!

Getting fed up with having to maximize browser and toggle sidebar on startup picture attached. Also will we be seeing proper extension support and a way of deleting cookies and history on exit by the time beta stages arrive? Thanks

I actually thought that this problem was fixed but there is still an issue processing keystrokes when typing bookmark folder names. I'm getting all sorts of gibberish displaying.
Can the Add Bookmark drop down list be modified to show hierarchy. Currently we just get a straight list of folders displayed and unless you know it's not obvious which are folders and which are subfolders.
Thanks

Today's snapshot says "adobe flash player is out of date" & wouldn't accept the up date.I had to unnstall & re install the with the previous version. This would seem to be a major bug for the online gamers.

Although YouTube videos play with no problem, Facebook videos do not. They load, but never play.

Found the solution to the Facebook video problem. Vivaldi uses pepperflash – but doesn't install its own. Instead, it reaches over and uses Chrome's pepperflash. It wasn't working because Chrome had disabled it. There was a new version available, but it had to be downloaded manually. Once I had done that, Vivaldi regained the ability to play Facebook videos. To fix the problem, open a new tab in Chrome and go to chrome://components. Look down the list on the left for pepperflash and click the Check for Updates button. Chrome will take it from there.
