Missing? Open page in sidebar web-panel button.
-
I want to open opened page in web-panel (sidebar). The best way to add a button "Open page in web panel"
modedit changed title, added hint to Feature Request forum.
-
From the Vivaldi Browser Help Center :
- Right-click anywhere on an open webpage to open the context menu
- Select Add Page to Web Panel from the menu
Or do you want an independent button to place in the Vivaldi Interface ?

I want to use webpanel feature as convenient and compact split tab.I want to stick one page (to make it visible always) and see it when I'm working with other tabs.
In my example I want to see an order or cart all the time when opening another products.
Or comparing one product with another. One is opened in web-panel (to see it always) - others is opening in tabs.
By the way, there are a lot of examples when sticking one page in front of eyes on the left while switching different tabs on the right will be useful.
The main idea is to easily open desired tab (which has to be in front of you all time) in web-panel temporarily (but not adding it to web-panel). Better way it to click "open in web panel" button on an opened tab. And that tab opens in web-panel and become visible always.
Split screen feature doesn't provide it. It works only with selected tabs.

I found such functionality in Firefox Add-on. Look https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-link-in-sidebar/ Now I can open a page in a sidebar from context menu (bookmarks also). I wish to have button on a extension bar also.
.
WAITING THE SAME FUNCTIONALITY IN VIVALDI!! Sidebar functionality have to be improved.
