I got another spam today
-
So I was looking at the header and I noticed this:
X-Spam-Flag: NO X-Spam-Score: -0.581 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-0.581 tagged_above=-999 required=6.31 tests=[BAYES_00=-1.9, HTML_MESSAGE=0.001, LOTS_OF_MONEY=0.001, TRACKER_ID=1.306, T_FILL_THIS_FORM_SHORT=0.01, URIBL_BLOCKED=0.001] autolearn=no autolearn_force=no
So the only way for the server to learn is just keep these in my spam folder?
It says that auto learn is NO, does this come from the server or can I adjust this?
Thanks

@troypulk Hello there,
Did you send already report it? I use an e-mail client for my Vivaldi Webmail, there is no Spam folder on my account, perhaps it's the Junk folder.
-
@lamarca
I think the junk and spam are the same because I also have a deleted folder in my mail client and on my Vivaldi web mail.
I was under the impression that you just move the email to the junk folder and the system would learn, but as you can see mine says auto learn is off.
How do you report a spam mail?Thanks
-
@troypulk There you are. I must be careful.
You didn't get the mail in the Inbox, did you. The filter sent to junk folder, perfect@troypulk said in I got another spam today:

Please, ask the admin;

How do you report a spam mail?
By copying the mail header and sending it to the Security Office.
https://help.vivaldi.com/article/report-spammers-phishing-scams/
My old ISP sometimes also required the Mail Body.
Do you backport packages?
-
@lamarca
I must of misspoke,The spam went into my inbox folder.
I can backport but at the moment I do not have any backport packages.
-
@troypulk Storms really scares me. Inbox?! Please, report it right now.

I've gotten a couple of scam messages recently - a guy claiming to have hacked my computer and asking for money not to reveal personal information (passwords, etc.). I know it's fake because he claimed he sent the message from my own email account but it didn't come from my account (nor from any Vivaldi email address). How dumb do they think people are?
-
@sgunhouse There's a school of thought that scammers deliberately insert mistakes to filter out people who are smart enough to spot the scam - that way they don't waste their time and can focus on more at-risk individuals. If that's the case, it's actually quite disturbingly planned-out.
