Raindrop.io nickname r

Hi there,
I really like vivaldi so far but raindrop.io is a really important tool for me where I have all my bookmarks. In chrome I can enter 'r' in the searchbar hit space and search through all my bookmarks which is simply amazing.
I got so used to this that I can no longer live without this feature...
I discovered that you can do this with search engines in vivaldi which is something I missed in Chrome so thats awesome too but I can't figure out how to make it work with raindrop.io.
Can somebody help me?

Is it the raindrop extension that registers a special keyword? If that's not working then it's worth filing a bug report, as chrome extensions should be compatible with Vivaldi.
If it's a search engine, you would need to figure out the url to direct to and add a custom one of your own.

There is a note in the support area of the extension

In short, does not workMaybe chromium updates need addressing by the raindrop dev(s)?

Apparently you can:
- set up a bookmarklet to add URLs directly into their system
- set up a search engine manually (method 2) to search from the Address Bar or Quick Commands (e.g. “r weekend plans”):
- Name:
raindrop
- Nickname:
r
- URL:
https://app.raindrop.io/?#/collection/0/%5B%7B%22key%22%3A%22word%22%2C%22val%22%3A%22%S%22%7D%5D
- Name:
Taking a look at their extension, one might also find a way to call their
/api/
to provide search suggestions. -
@Dantesoft your answer is the one that got me closest to the desired state.

I can search for links but:
- I don't get live search results as I type
- When I press enter it opens the extension page with the search term entered in the search bar
Now this is a big improvement but still not at the level of the chrome browser.
I had a look at their API but so far I haven't seen a 'search' function. I assume they cache the bookmarks locally and perform a local search through the bookmarks...
