Can't get custom search engines to work

Trying to add Amazon and YouTube as search sites, but when I use the shortcut name, the results take me to the main page instead of search results. Any suggestions?

@theericbeaty Edit your search engines to use these urls instead:

• https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%s
• https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%s

Substitute search keyword in address with %s or %S

@theericbeaty Yeah, without the %s, a search engine won't work.

In the future if you want to add another search engine, right-click on it and this will appear on the context menu:
