Privacy-aware built-in bookmarks

There are a lot of default bookmarks that lack secure HTTPS addresses, which probably happened for historical reasons, but can be easily fixed once the developers become aware of them.

A bit more worrying are the negligent breaks in the HTTPS redirect chain thru third-party revenue-sharing sites to the bookmarks’ sponsors.
For example, Vivaldi installs https://vivaldi.com/bk/trivago (for, among others, the “travel” and “hotels” keywords) which redirects to some http://ww4.siteplug.com/… tracking URL instead of https://ww4.siteplug.com/….

Could Vivaldi make the bookmarks a bit more privacy-aware?

PS: I’m not saying Vivaldi should follow Opera in owning an ad network to get more revenue, but using Siteplug, which doesn’t look more than an intermediary for Google?

The Trivago bookmark I mentioned gets redirected by them to
https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/288874182;115856153;s?https://www.trivago.com/?cip=1030101010370&iPathId=34288&iSemThemeId=10598&cip_tc={tsid}-Anaheim-CA&sOrderBy=random&aOverallLiking=2,3,4,5
instead of avoiding companies “invested heavily in business models based on surveillance” as someone recently said.
