Remove tab spacing in maximized window) stopped working
-
I got Vivaldi 2.3.1420.4 (Official Build) (64-bit) today and can't get rid of the tab spacing in a maximized window.
The option has no effect or works only very briefly.//MODEDIT: Topic moved from Forum Feedback to All platforms

My setting still works, but on a related note, sometimes Vivaldi opens up not quite maximized when I start in either Windows or Linux. And clicking the maximize button has the effect of downsizing the window. It's odd. In Windows I grab the top of window and drag up to maximize and in Linux I have to click the maximize button twice to get the same effect.

@mrmeireles There is a recent bug whereby if you minimize a Vivaldi window, the maximize/restore icon stops working.
Press F11 twice to work around this for now

@mvamos That happens to me often.
-
@Pesala That worked. Thanks for another solution.

@Pesala I can't wait for the fix. It's very annoying to me. Since it was impossible for me to find, in a reasonable time frame, the snapshots repository, could you please link me to the previous one so I can rollback? Thanks!

All snapshots can be found in the announcements forum
https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/83/snapshotsHowever, "rollback" is not recommended (because of updated engine etc.). If you are not willing to encounter some annoying problems, then perhaps you should be using the Stable version instead of snapshots!?

@mrmeireles Maybe this is the bug you mean?
- Minimizing while maximized bugs out maximized state (VB-47470)
It is fixed in the latest Snapshot.
