Can I remove the search box from my start page

Why do we need another search box on our custom background?
Can I remove it? -
@GrailKing Do you mean on the Start Page? Of course you can remove it. Simply go to Settings/Search and uncheck "Show search field on Speed Dial."

Yes and thanks, I din't see that.
I updated the browser and it wiped out my custom page and got a search box on my background. -
