I am noticing that I have about 42 Vivaldi browser processes open when I look at task Manager, but all I have open is 10 Tabs can anyone help?
Thanks

@johnwj6969 Like Chromium and Chrome, Vivaldi is a multi-process browser. You are not seeing multiple browsers open, but multiple processes. Many of these will be extensions you have installed, and some will be processes generated by tabs. On this machine at the beginning of writing this comment, I had eight tabs showing in the tab bar and nine processes reflected in the tab manager. Some of those tabs were hibernated. After opening every tab, I wound up with fifteen total Vivaldi-related processes. This reflects that just having the browser installed and open generates five processes, (browser, GPU, background, App and update notifier processes) and three pinned tabs generated three more. Opening every tab started a process for each tab, plus another process for every subframe or helper process required by any tab.
This is how chromium based browsers work. Vivaldi's UI requires one (App) process more than other Chromium browsers.

If you use process explorer you can see that they are all part of the same "tree" of one browser, if you want to prove to yourself what @Ayespy says:
