Slow on Wix.com
-
I've been developing a website on Wix.com that streams videos from YouTube, however the actual presentation of the video on wix.com is an already uploaded photo image on the wix server so that the video doesn't have to be fully loaded before a graphical representation appears. On native Chrome Browser the load and refresh time is very light and quick, same on Mozilla Firefox and I.E. 11, but on Vivaldi it simply goes into a loading loop for quite a while before being able to fully load the page.
I've adapted Vivaldi as the main web browser, so it would be nice to be able to know that there is a way to possibly correct this loading issue since Vivaldi is built over the Chrome Browser. This obviously means, there is something in the Vivaldi overlay causing the problem, or Vivaldi by default has a setting turned on or off that is causing the problem.
Any thoughts about how to troubleshoot this issue would be appreciated, especially since in my industry, video and presentation is everything, and Wix.com has become the website management of choice.
I'm running a quad with 4 gigs ram and 1 gig broadband, this shouldn't be happening.

@rdreammaker There's no delay here. Do you use any 3rd party security software?
-
Thanks for taking a look. I have all my extensions turned off when viewing the page, as for security software I have Avast and Malwarebytes Ransomware running. Neither of them have affected viewing the page on other browsers. I would be hesitant to run without them just to view Wix.com since that is the only page i've encountered this problem with.

@rdreammaker The linked web page takes a few seconds to load on Broadband, but that's not too surprising as over 9 Mbytes need to be loaded. Opera 12.18 Info Panel tells me:
Size of main page: 113,722 bytes
Number of inline elements: 194 (9,136,360 bytes) -
In the past I have also tried to create a web page in WIX, but since I do not have a very good PC, I have left it, precisely because the Wix pages are very colorful, but also very resource hungry, which means that their load is not precisely very fast, if one does not have a PC with a lot of power.

Wow "Vivaldi Ambassador"! That's a mighty impressive title you have in the forums!
Thanks for the reply.I agree, it's true that a more modern PC with bandwidth certainly makes viewing web pages made on Wix.com more enjoyable. I've developed Wix web pages since it began, so I tend to lean toward avoiding anything that would I wouldn't be able to also view on my old G5 and G4 Mac's which I actually still use for some projects. They have the modern web browser which is an independent off-shoot of Mozilla Firefox called "TenFourFox". I'm actually stepping back going into 2019 from Windows 10 back to 8.1 and putting my old Mac's back into production.
But I am working on WIX using a pretty fast computer, and I've disabled background processes on Wix which tend to slow down page loading. As I originally mentioned, its only Vivaldi that I am seeing a problem with out of the available browsers, so I am thinking I probably need to get into Chromes backend settings and flip a couple of switches that Vivaldi or perhaps myself accidentally flipped on.

@pesala
Thanks for the speed info. Pesala.
I'm surprised your using Opera. I cringe at the idea, it was actually my browser of choice until China purchased it. That is when I went in search and found Vivaldi a few years ago. Opera was right at where it needed to be to make big headways until it got sold. Since I have to be more security conscious, I have to avoid Opera, unfortunately. But hey! Vivaldi is a great browser in the making.Looks like I'll have to try to do some Vivaldi back-end troubleshooting. I'm sure there has to be a switch that got flipped in there that's causing the page to loop on the bottom half, since others of you viewing it on Vivaldi are not seeing the same issue.

@rdreammaker I don't use Opera 12.18 for browsing; just for email, but Vivaldi does not yet have the Page Information Panel so I used Opera to get the information.

Thank your everyones attempt to help.
I figured out the problem. It was actually a pretty simple resolve.
Turns out that Vivaldi had blocked the actual web page cookie, wix.com cookie and about 5 other cookies for some reason.
Once I allowed them, everything appeared in seconds. -
