panels bar not working with google document
-
On my panels bar, I added a google document. I would like to be able to edit that google document in my panels bar but it doesn't want to let me... Nothing happens when I try to click into or type on the document.
On the bottom of the google doc it says "use the app" which I do not want to do, but anyways no response when I click that anyways.
Thank you in advance vivaldi peeps!

It's impossible for Vivaldi to fix a panel when it's another company controlling the page.
I have a feeling you should contact Google. After all Google owns Google docs. You are probably
at their mercy. It's Google who wants you to use their app. Vivaldi cannot control Google...nobody can.Have you tried to edit the document in the page?

This is not a google issue, Vivaldi has included a link to "use the app" which is broken itself. It is not googles job to make sure their app works as a Vivaldi feature, that is Vivaldi's domain. To make sure their panels bar works with one of the most popular tools on the internet...
Anyways my google sheets work fine on the panels bar, unsure why a google doc is any different. I feel like I must be missing something simple here...

Got it. I had completely forgotten I had this issue a long time ago. Someone else had the fix:
Right-click on the Web Panel icon. Enable Show Desktop Version, and Separate Width (to give yourself more space without enlarging other panels).

@diusonem In case you weren't aware, the
Ambassador
tag just means it is a regular forum user that has done work to promote Vivaldi. They don't work for Vivaldi and are volunteering their help here on the forum like the rest of us. Even
Moderators
are only volunteers.People are just trying to help, so maybe don't judge them too harshly.
