Github login problem

My github account has 2FA enabled, when I try to login in Github this message appears:
What!? Your browser did something unexpected.

@fredguth for me, this error appears consistently for second factor input if I forgot to enable cookies for
https://[*.]github.com

No login error - 2FA off

@fredguth sorry for the trouble. Does this error show up repeatedly? If so please file a bug report on vivaldi.com/bugreport so that the dev team can reproduce it and fix it asap. Thanks in advance for your help.

Years later I am having the same issue: I cannot login in GitHub.
I tried disabling all extensions, the problem persisted.
Curious thing, in a Private Window I was able to login (it also works flawlessly in Firefox). So, the question is: with ALL EXTENSIONS DISABLED (and browser restarted), what else could cause issues?(remember: it works in private window).
Thanks.

Can be: broken cookie file, broken settings, privacy settings, extensions interfering.
Some extensions break something even if they are deactivated.Test in a new profile (Manage Profile)
or as a last remedy reset Vivaldi profileNew Profile works.
Okay, this sucks now... because I don't know how to proceed from here (how to migrate everything from bookmarks, open tabs, extensions, sidebar web panels) to a new profile... Any tips? -
@Gwen-Dragon I had no time to deal with it. I was happy that I can explore options, but I got somewhat busy. I will post here once I get to it.
As I'm also using FF, I'm somewhat covered for now ... -
