Scroll not working in Turnitin
-
I mark student's assignments using Turnitin. Now, the previous versions of Vivaldi would let me scroll inside an assignment, but not the last two updates. All other websites work fine. I can, however, scroll in Turnitin when in Chrome. I've tried disabling extensions etc to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem is?
I'm switching back over to Chrome until I can sort the problem out - it's very difficult to do my work otherwise.

Maybe hard for anyone to test without an account there or an assignment to check. I guess you could submit an assignment of your own, and then submit a Bug Report

I have an account there, and the first time I brought up student work, I had to move the mouse scroll wheel a couple of times (I think I also clicked on the scroll bar to the right of the student work), but then I was able to scroll through the uploaded assignment. I could bring up other assignments, and the scroll button would work as soon as the assignment had finished loading. This in Vivaldi 2.1.1332.4
Can you move your mouse scroll wheel a couple of times, or try moving that bar on the right side of the assignment with the cursor--and after that, does the scroll function still not work?
Edit: Now this is in the window that opens up after clicking on a given assignment, where you check for plagiarized content--I do not make any marks on student work. If you are talking about something different, please let me know and I'll try it on my end.

@paulri Thanks for the response! I've tried moving the mouse wheel and clicking the scroll bar to no avail, even after the assignment had loaded. I think we're talking about the same thing (have included a screenshot with the bar marked)
I don't have Vivaldi 2.1.1332.4, I have 2.0.1309.40. Where did you get your version?
EDIT: Got the newer snapshot version and scroll works! Thanks very much @paulri! Changing default browser immediately...

@jjgrubb Glad to hear! Perhaps it was just a glitch with that particular version? I dunno, all's well that ends well.

In case anyone else stumbles here looking for answers to scrolling not working in CHROME...
I solved this by extension disabling ....I had this issue but found that Edge did allow scrolling but not Chrome.
I had to disable ALL extensions at once and then refreshed the assignment and scroll worked.
It was both Pinterest and Logitech Smooth Scroll that individually and together stopped scrolling.
Disabling singly previously did not work as both were stopping scrolling.
Now works fine. -
