Pinch-to-zoom on track-pad... Is it possible to make it act like a touchscreen pinch-to-zoom gesture?
-
Pinch to zoom on a track-pad effects the scale, but I find it very slow and clunky while the actual zoom from doing the same gesture directly on the touchscreen is preferable. The actual zoom is how it currently works on chrome. I also tried fiddling the touch based options in Vivaldi://flags/ to no avail.

This is true. Pinch-zooming with the touchpad is butter smooth in Edge and (more recently) Chrome. It's still pretty awful in Vivaldi. But if you use the touchscreen to do it, it's smooth. It should be the same behavior when using the touchpad gesture. On Edge, for example, I can zoom in with two fingers, move the page around to focus on something I wanted to see larger, then zoom back out, all in a very quick, fluid, responsive motion. I'd love to have this capability in Vivaldi.

I also agree. You need very fine finger movement to use pinch to zoom on trackpad as it's implemented now.
