Cannot use Ctrl+shift+T to restore session of last closed window
-
This works perfectly with chrome, but when I switched to Vivaldi I seemed to hit a road block with this. On chrome when I close the browser, restart my computer, or faced with a crash, I can restore my session using ctr+shift+t to restore my last session. When faced with the same scenario with Vivaldi, it just opens up a single tab and most infuriating when faced with a crash it counter-intuitively skips all the tabs I was using at the time of the crash.
- Ctrl+shift+t should reopen collectively tabs that were closed collectively.
- Ctrl+shift+t should work properly after crash where its needed most.

@shanroxalot That's not the way it is designed.
Ctrl+Shift+T is assigned to "Reopen Tab." I use Ctrl+Z instead.
Try Settings, Startup, Startup with, Last session.

@pesala Then I do not think its designed properly.
Why should I not be able to reopen the tabs that were open after a crash? Especially when I have to delve into my history and search for the specific pages that I was using last since spamming ctrl+z results in absolutely none of the tabs that I actually had open showing up.
More generally, the functionality of "reopening last tab" is confusing if its not clear what the last even is tab is. We can close tabs together, so why not open tabs together. Reopening tabs in their current method being so unconnected very unintuitive. Vivaldi put a lot of emphasis in being able to compartmentalize especially with tab stacks, seems to go against design philosophy.

As @pesala said:
Settings, Startup, Startup with, Last session
that's already the way to go if you really care to not lose your last session after (even unwillingly) closing Vivaldi, but yeah, reopening tabs could be better.
For now you can reopen them one at a time, with multiple ctrl-alt-t or ctrl-z, or even from the trashcan: middle click on it will reopen latest closed tabs.
Nothing is really lost. -
