VB-36299 appears to be fixed, but unlike Chrome, creating a bookmark using vivaldi://restart doesn't seem to work.

Is that a result of full bookmark functionality not yet being completed?

infact neither vivaldi://restart nor vivaldi://quit work for me as bookmarks, i have to actually type/paste them in the address bar to work.

@escolar I can do that, you can do. Add the flag as regular bookmark, as it doesn't recognized nicknames, no Quick Commands for us. Here's a workaround, click on the Thumbnail square, click on update, and

there must be something not implemented correctly that doesn't make them trigger if simply clicked like other bookmarks.

@lamarca It works for me. Try renaming the Bookmark to "Restart" for example, or select a custom thumbnail.

they work for me on speed dial, as i added them, they get executed immediately, probably because vivaldi actually executes the url to get the thumbnail. But they indeed work by just clicking the thumbs on SD once restarted.

I have added both
vivaldi://quit
vivaldi://restart
as bookmarks, and by right click context menu/open they get executed.

@ian-coog Strangely (or it's by designed) can't be loaded by nicknames.
Quick Commands opens vivaldi-internal-syn, which nick is {sy}
