The problem is in compatibility with the Chrome 69.
If I changed Chrome engine version, for example, to 47 - it works.

Same for me.
Unable to log into any google accounts (Vivaldi 2.0).
I tried to disable all extensions as well as all Google cookies.
When I have the google authentication webpage I set my mail address, then my password on the second screen. On third one (the double authentication) it ask to validate the access on my android mobile. When doing so on my mobile I have a an error on vivaldi saying an error occured, try again and a "next" button. But I'm not logged on the google service.
Very annoying to have a browser without access to the google authentication.

@gwen-dragon That doesn't make sense as we can log in using Incognito mode which would use the same user agent.

It's probably Vivaldi trying to do something with the identity consistency handling as well as google's handling of the user agent string.

Changing the user agent does not fix the issue for me, still only works with the identity consistency flag change.

@standpipe It does appear to be a combination effect. Google demanding something from Vivaldi because it is a "Chromium" browser, and Vivaldi unable to provide it because it doesn't use Chrome code. The curious thing is that it only happens to a limited number of cases, and not to everyone.

Hello there. New to the Browser.
I'm also having this issue and can confirm I am able to access my Google account in incognito mode but not as standard.
This would be a deal breaker for me but I'm going to just use Chrome for Youtube in the meantime while it is fixed.

Google spits out a very generic "Oops something went wrong" error with no code right after signing in.
I've tried this on accounts both with and without a Google two factor authentication system active.

Is there any information I can provide that might help the team figure out what the issue is?

@hari-cu You can set the Identity Consistency flag to Enabled Dice (fix auth errors).

Hello there.
I am still unable to sign into Google services.

I used the Vivaldi "Check for updates" button and I get the prompt "You're up to date! Vivaldi 2.0.1309.37 is currently the newest version available."

Hope the issue can be fixed.

EDIT:
@hari-cu 's comment has fixed the issue for me in the meantime. I can now log into Google services, although I did have to change Vialdi://flags to vivaldi://flags.

Hello !

I have never had this kind of problem before, but now it suddenly appeared.
The solution with flags and Dice auth did not work for me at all .
Does anyone has any other suggestions or is the only way to wait for a new Vivaldi update?

Again, it worked fine like, two-three days ago and all of a sudden I was logged out of Docs & Youtube and cannot log back in. If I enter my eMail and continue, it tells me my cookies are disabled (I didn't change anything) and if I click on 'continue' it just loads itself to death .

Vivaldi 2.3.1440.41 (Stable channel) (64-Bit)
Is my current version.

I have already 'told' Vivaldi to check for updates and it just tells me I have the newest version .
Also, the Cookies are not blocked - again, I didn't change anything and it just happened from one day to another. It works fine in another browser, but I just like Vivaldi.

Edit: Forgot to add, that I had cleared the cookies already, but nothing changed either.

Edit 2: I deleted the cache & cookies again, after manually updating to the newest 2.4 ... still the same problem. Even in the private session.
