There is this site one cannot log into using Vivaldi while there’s no problem with, say, Firefox:
(it’s the Finnish Disney publisher’s e-archive for Donald Duck/Mickey Mouse comics).
If you try it out, the login button is the left one of the two buttons in the top right corner, “Kirjaudu”. Curiously enough, the next button, “Tilaa” (subscribe) works all right.
While loading the page, the JavaScript console says this:
widget.js:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
2(index):40 A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://dev.visualwebsiteoptimizer.com/deploy/js_visitor_settings.php?v=1&a=8136&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.akuankka.fi%2F&random=0.8902804377282685, is invoked via document.write. The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 for more details.
I have no idea how the latter fits; I’m not using 2G or mobile connection.
Is this a bug, a “feature” or something totally different?

Hi,
The pages loads fine. I can go any longer with no login.
What is Vivaldi version. I suggest the Dev Tools to check it. The tab Console displays useful information. -
Well, if you look closely you’ll see I already had the Dev Tools’ Console output in my first post
But I seem to have found the solution. It seems EFF’s Privacy Badger plugin had to be disabled for this site (although I think I should find a milder alternative like allowing some tracking cookies).

Glad to know the issue is solved by yourself. I will tag thr topic as resolved.
