Proxy Error on Trying to log-in to virgin media email account

Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request POST /ajax/saml/acs.Reason: Corrupt status line returned by remote server: HTTP/0.9 400 Bad Request
I can still send and receive email from Opera 12.18 using that account, and I can get to the log-in page using Opera 12.18, Opera 54, or Vivaldi 1.15 Final. Log-in is not automatic only due to passwords not being saved.

When I go ahead and log-in from Vivaldi 1.15 I get this error message:
Your mailbox is not available at the moment.
Please retry again in one hour and make sure you are using the correct password to access your email from all of your devices.

Having had experience with them, it would not surprise me in the least to discover this is a problem with Virgin media and not Vivaldi.
But if that were the case, I wouldn't expect it to work in opera either. If you were using the opera mail client and it works, but not the web mail, I'd guess it's a temporary front end issue with Virgin.
If you're feeling lucky (do ya, punk?) You could try the gauntlet of the support number.

I just managed to log-in successfully with Vivaldi 1.15 Stable, so the bug seems to lie with the latest Snapshot. It is not something that I ever noticed with earlier Snapshots.

The email was forwarded to my virgin media email account.

I just managed to log in OK with the current snapshot, so it might have been a problem with Virgin Media.

As it does not work now, I removed the resolved tag.
It's OK again now. I will keep an eye on it for a while.

Having issues again, but working OK earlier. This seems to be a site issue, so you can close the bug report.

Another Update: Unable to log in at all with the Snapshot. Vivaldi 1.15 Final logged in without issues.
The error message is now different, showing this message in the centre of the page.

After the latest updates of Windows and Vivalid, I can now log in without any error message using the latest Vivaldi Snapshot.

@gwen-dragon I am not sure what fixed it, but it is still working today.
