How to take high DPI screenshots in Vivaldi
-
Hi,
how can I take screenshots with a higher DPI/DPR value in Vivaldi without using extensions? To explain what I mean, here's how I'm doing it in Firefox:
So let's say I want to capture this part of an Wikipedia article on my 1920x1080 monitor with normal DPI:
normal screenshot. In Firefox, I open the Responsive Design Mode and load a custom configuration with dimensions of 1920x1080 (so the text doesn't get squeezed) and a DPI setting of 3.
Then I take the screenshot, which is obviously displaying the text larger and keeps a good quality even when zooming even further in: DPI 3 screenshot
That's what I want.
So how to do this in Vivaldi? Is it even possible?
To capture a small part I can just zoom in and take a screenshot, which at least displays it's larger but doesn't look as good when further zooming in.
And with a larger part like in the example above, zooming in will obviously "shrink" the text paragraph so it fits on the screen.
Plus since you can't scroll while taking a screenshot in Vivaldi, I can't capture the entirety of that paragraph either.I also tried using the Developer Tools + Device Bar, but changing the DPI doesn't have any effect.
And taking screenshots inside the Developer Tools doesn't work either (I suppose that's a known issue?).
Thank you for reading & best regards
