It has been a long time.
There are a lot of miaopai videos on weibo of China, so It's really annoying.
Sometimes, videos of high definition can not be played right, but low definition videos are alright.
I have tried to disable the hardware acceleration on vivaldi://flags, but it didn't work.

It seems like a website problem, not a Vivaldi problem. The video does not play in Opera 54 nor in Firefox 61 either.

@pesala maybe the website has a regional restriction. It cannot be played outside from China.
Here on my computer, Firefox and Chrome or other chromium-based browser can play this video.

The site is blocking Vivaldi or are unable to identify the UA (user agent). Let me see if it works. -

Confirmed - it is a pure certificate missing and missmatch problem, no country restriction, no User Agent sniffing.
The certificate for the video is issued from
*.cdn.mycloud.com
but the video in itself is delivered via
txycdn.miaopai.comThe video in itself is a standard MPEG4 Base media, High@L5, CABAC / 4 Ref Frames with AAC LC mp4a-40-2 sound, which plays just fine in Vivaldi, no codec problem.
