Issue with Gmail on Mac

I've been using Vivaldi on a Mac desktop running on OS X 10.8.5, and it's been great except for one thing. Basically, when I compose an email in Gmail, the cursor keeps freezing. It does this every 5-10 seconds, and more often when I pause from typing. This only happens when I compose a new message; not when I reply to an existing one, or in any other situation. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

What Vivaldi version are you using? If you're using Technical Preview 2 (v.1.0.118.19) as most new users are, try updating to the most recent Developer snapshot.
Vivaldi is developing rapidly and there have been numerous bug fixes and feature improvements since Technical Preview 2. Developer snapshots since then have generally been as stable, if not more stable, than TP2.
Follow the Team Blog for weekly updates (usually on Mondays) and occasional mid-week updates.
