YouTube (without Javascript)

On:
I see nothing but grey outlines on a white background. Is there some way of viewing the site (without turning on javascript, of course)? Other browsers will display content with javascript disabled.

Not every feature, but I am able to do (in Opera 12.16, for example) a search, and see a list of videos returned with their URLs, browse videos from a specific user, and much more. Obviously, I can't play them without javascript, but that is not the point. I just want to see something other than a blank page.

I've just perfomed a quick comparison of what gets delivered by YT and it looks like YT delivers different content. O12 gets some normal tags whereas Vivaldi (and chrome|ium) only get gigatons of script stuff and empty placeholders for the script to fill in - both with JS switched off - so probably no workaround possible ...

@Gwen-Dragon Is there any way of getting around this (say sending a special user agent just to youtube.com)?
