Can't control iframe
-
After update vivaldi(1.13.1008.34-1 -> 1.15.1147.42-1) I can't control any iframe on any sites.
For example I'm try to watch youtube video on any site. I'm click on thumbnail, iframe loads, video starts play, video player ignore my mouse hover(all controls hidden) and my actions - I can't pause video, change volume or seek over video.
Or I need to pay purchase. Loads banks iframe with card form, but I can't write or even select any input field. Then I open google chrome (67.0.3396.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)) and pay without any trouble. Now I'm on 1.15.1147.47-1 and have same problem. How I can fix it?

Just to make sure there's no corrupted files on your profile ( type
vivaldi://version
on address bar to get the path)Open the terminal and issue the following command:
/usr/bin/vivaldi --user-data-dir="/tmp/VIV-XXX" &
It's a clean install, will not affect the version installed and it's temporary. Try the same websites, in case you can't reproduce the errors, then the issue lies on your profile.

@lamarca in clean profile iframes works. Can I repair my profile without loosing settings, bookmarks, tabs?
-
Ouch. Partially. yes
The Vivaldi Help pages list those files.https://help.vivaldi.com/article/full-reset-of-vivaldi/
A suggestion: the Snapshot comes with Sync enabled.

it was chrome://flags/#enable-site-per-process. Don't remember for what I was use this option. But it wasn't a problem on 1.13.1008.34.

It might be to disable the autofill in the passwd manager. Gøøgle bug.

@lamarca I don't have saved passwords or cards. Only email for forms input.
What difference between stable and snapshot version? -
@hxss The snapshot is a beta version.

@lamarca Is snapshots is stable too?

What difference between stable and snapshot version? The dirty trick was on the auto fill.
Snapshots are tested internally many times before the release. It's a preview for the next Stable. Let me find an article, -

They will be stable. Many users have the Snapshots as the default browser.

@hxss this is to limit some attack vectors. more info here: https://www.chromium.org/Home/chromium-security/site-isolation It's defintiely causing the problem described for me as well. My guess is the practice of embedding xsite stuff in iframe is more common than previously thought.
