Mouse cursor and links/buttons sometimes don't line up?
-
Sorry, I'm really terrible at describing things, but I'll try. For the past... two or three weeks maybe, I've noticed that sometimes the thing I'm pointing at with my mouse isn't selected, but rather, some other link or button that's some amount of pixels away. When I click the thing I have selected, it still works, but when I need to do something that requires hovering my mouse on something (like reacting on Facebook), that's impossible.
And it's not only on Facebook, but also in Gmail, Reddit, and some local news sites that I visit.
I'm running version 1.15.1147.42 on Windows 10.
Example from my Facebook newsfeed: my mouse is where I've drawn the light blue blob, but the comment button is highlightedI really hope I made some sense. As I said, I'm the worst when it comes to explaining.... everything basically. Please ask some more questions, if needed.

@niisu2 I've not encountered this problem, so it may be specific to you
You don't mention if you are using any extensions.
As a quick check - try with a "clean" profile
https://help.vivaldi.com/article/full-reset-of-vivaldi/Note: For testing - just rename the default folder rather than deleting it! Then you can always rename it back later, so you don't lose anything if that is NOT the problem.

Hi, sorry! I'm using AdBlock, Enhanced Steam, FB Purity, Google Translate, Reddit Enhancement Suite, The Great Suspender, View Image and Whatfont. Haven't added any new extensions in months.

@niisu2 Extensions (and Vivaldi) are updated which may cause problems.
It's worth doing the profile reset check anyway (remember - rename NOT delete so you can restore all your settings)

I'm having the same issue. It seems that tabs, once opened, are not aware of changes to scaling. I first noticed it when I used it with an additional external monitor. It's a 4k screen so I have to use a different scaling factor than the laptop screen which is only 1080p. It gets misaligned when a tab is viewed with a scaling factor different from the one that it originally was opened on. It doesn't happen when I use the same scaling on both monitors.
I can replicate the problem with a single monitor by changing scaling. The tabs that were open during the change will no longer align, but they'll go back to normal as soon as I change the scaling back.
I can also get everything in the tab to line up again by just closing and reopening it so it takes on the new scaling factor, but once the window is moved to a monitor with different scaling, it will reoccur.
