Can't make payments

I can't make payments

First of all, I love Vivaldi

But I have to use other browsers on many occasions to make payments

I can go online, select an item, put it in the shopping cart, and enter my name and address

And then when I go to pay, I can't enter the card details

At this point it has the the feel of a read-only document

I'm running Windows 10 Pro on a recent HP Laptop which works really well in other respects

I appear to have no Extensions enabled

Ask suggestions very gratefully received

Just one more thing, before posting this I went into my bank account. A pop-up appeared asking whether I wanted to answer some questions. I couldn't clear this so had to go into Task Manager to clear Vivaldi. I hardly ever use Task Manager for this on my machine

Hi roy,

1.) What are your settings in Settings --> Privacy --> in the section "Cookies"?
2.) Can you please give us some example sites where you want to buy something and this happens?
3.) When I got that right you try to buy via credit card?
4.) What is your exact Vivaldi version? (You can look this up in the first line at vivaldi://about)

Might be worth looking at a user agent switcher as well, some sites/firms don't recognise Vivaldi yet.

@tbgbe Thank you - have tried your suggestion. Will now wait and see if the problem comes back

There seems to be a recurring problem - as I've already said the browser feels like it is read-only

On Carphone Warehouse site, I can't tick the reCAPTCHA box to prove I'm not a robot

I thought I had done this. Perhaps I didn't

Anyway, I have now disabled it. And the first payment worked

So let's hope I'm OK from now on
