Implement all Opera 12 default mouse gestures
-
I've used Opera (and now Vivaldi) for so long that I think mouse gestures are just how all browsers work.
I only use a few:
- link + down => open link in new tab
- non-link + down => open new blank tab
- left => back one page
- right => forward one page
- down + right => close tab
- down + left => minimise tab
Very, very occasionally:
- non-link + down + up => duplicate current tab (if I remember correctly. It currently opens a blank tab in the background in Vivaldi, which seems silly)
- non-link + up + down => reload current tab
They all work in Vivaldi except minimise tab. Searching through the options, it becomes apparent Vivaldi can't minimise tabs at all. This is not a feature I use often, but it's very handy when I start to have too many open tabs. I either minimise or close every tab currently open, looking at each one one at a time to see if I still want it open. When I have no more maximised tabs, I restore all the minimised ones.
I can't do the same thing without minimising tabs because I have to cycle through the tabs I want to keep each time I go looking for a tab I don't want anymore, e.g. by using [Ctrl]+[Tab].
Is there any chance of bringing back minimising, and then all the Opera 12 mouse gestures?

@cj-dennis Any mouse gesture can be customised to suit your needs via Settings, Mouse.
Minimise tab is not strictly possible because Vivaldi lacks the MDI interface of Opera. However, you can enable "Minimize Active Tab" in Settings, Tabs, Tab features. Click on the active tab to hide it and show the previous tab. Click it again to display it.
