I need a Tracker Blocker

Hi,

I am new to Vivaldi and like it so far. However, I need a tracker blocker.

At the moment, I am using Ghostery but I have heard mixed reports about it and want to get away from it.

Is there a Ghostery alternative for Vivaldi.

So far I have added uBlock, HTTPS everywhere, DuckDuchGo Privacy essentials, Dark Reager, and Turn the Lights off.

Just to make sure, I'd recommend uBlock Origin over regular uBlock.

And honestly, though uBlock Origin is primarily an ad blocker, it will do a great job at blocking trackers as well (there's a wide amount overlap in ads and trackers). You probably don't need to overload with more than one extension for that purpose.

I use nano Adblocker (improved uBlock Origin) and nano Defender (anti-adbock killer) . For blocing trackers I use Privacy Badger

And uBlock Origin offers much more than that:

custom blocking (something I'm still figuring out))
easy blocking from filterlists.com, Everything from blocking coin miners to gambling, social media, etc

I also use [PrivacyBadger from the EFF foundation]

I am beginning to think however that the fewer security add-ons you have the better your browsing experience will be.
Many sites detect these products then either do not work as anticipated or just freeze.
I'd start with Ghostery (it is the most friendly or I have been using it too long), then add Privacybadger so it can learn your preferences then uBlock Origin. Once all is configured you can disable or delete Ghostery.
