Vivaldi 1.15 RC 1 – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.15.1147.29

@christoph142: Many people understand that development is complicated. And yes, the'd like to have better understanding, or they get frustrated (so I understand @hekel, for me it clearly looks like he did not mean tto insult anyone).
Based on your comment the issue is discovered after the RC1 was published.
Are there any reasons not to update the blog post and add it as known issue? This would be faster than the long discussion with @hekel. -
@aerogems: Sure I have the option unchecked, thats why I have to choose first, where I want to save the file.
-
@aerogems: Sorry, I was wrong, it was checked, but I dont get, what happens, I am always asked about the location, which is what I want.
-
@burbuja So then what is the problem? I read your initial post as you weren't being asked where to save files.
-
@aerogems Well, I am asked, but before I choose the folder for the download, the download process has started.
-
@burbuja That sounds normal. The download process starts, but it does not get assigned to a destination until you say so.
-
@burbuja This is a useful feature, and the same as Opera 12.18. On a fast connection, most downloads are completed by the time you have chosen a folder,
-
Vivaldi still crashes randomly when opening developer tools (via inspect element or F12) on linux

Vivaldi Snapshot 1.15.1147.32 (RC2) is now available.

@fifonik Would have been an option, yes. But the snapshot was posted on a Friday before people were leaving for their well-deserved weekend. The only ones typically present on Saturday and Sunday are the moderators who are doing this in their spare time. And we usually don't want to alter the team's posts without prior reaffirmation. If we had promised this would get fixed and the team internally had settled for "we can't get all of them fixed at the same time, let's live with it", the whole team would have been called liars... Sometimes there is no right way...
