Some videos will not play in Vivaldi, but play in other browsers

I have been using Vivaldi for at least a year, but after an update a couple of months ago, some videos would no longer play on Reddit, and YouTube. I love Vivaldi, so I really want to fix this. I have ensured the proper pepper flash player is installed, and given the proper permissions, etc, but still some videos will not play. The progress bar works like the video is playing, and the sound will play, but the video player screen only shows white and black shapes. Here is an example of a video on Reddit that will not play:

Both videos play well in vivaldi for me.

@chapcat Both play fine here. What extensions do you use... is one uBlock Origin perchance? In case yes, fyi, here are my settings for those sites:

@chapcat Have you tried turning off hardware acceleration? Some recent versions of Chromium have made this necessary.

I would rather watch Dr Pimple Popper than Dr Phil. :p:p
