Weird Tabs Behavior
-
Hello! I've been using the Vivaldi browser for quite some time and the bug I'm about to describe is a thing for me for a long time. So I decided to stop "enjoying" it and ask for help.
As you can see there is a gap between tabs. This gap might grow and might disappear but if I close all the tabs to the right of the gap and open a new one it will appear after the gap again. If I relaunch the browser it will get back to normal (no gap).
Alas, when I have 2+ sessions of the browser open it is not convenient to relaunch the browser since I will lose the session so the bug is growing on me. I can't say what exactly provoke such a behavior but it looks like I've seen it when I have a pinned tab(s). Also, I have the browser window to occupy exactly half the screen estate.

@ixsci I have never seen it, but I have seen other posts about it. Which version of Vivaldi are you using on which version of Windows? Try pressing F11 twice to work-around the issue.
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit • Snapshot 1.15.1137.3 (64-bit)

@ixsci There are old reports of this, but the most recent I found has some "workarounds"
-
@pesala I use the latest Win10 (Fall creator update) with the following Vivaldi:
Vivaldi 1.11.917.39 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
Revision 161e1fce0e1b4aa6e95de8aa8b0e5cbc11cd8e8b-The F11 workaround helps, thank you.

@ixsci That is an old version. Why haven't you updated to Vivaldi 1.14 yet?
-
@pesala That's a good question (mainly because it didn't ask me to update and I didn't check myself). Just updated, will test it for a while and report here afterwards.
