Audio missing in video on packersnews.com

I understand there are a number of issues with video playback at present that are in the pipeline to be fixed. Thought I would add another URL where there is no audio...
Works on latest builds of Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
I am using 1.14.1077.55 (Stable channel) (32-bit) -
I too am using Win 10x64 pro. Still video only, no audio.

I have the same OS.
That video works for me on 1.14 Stable and on 1.15 Snapshot.
Note: On my Stable I had a problem that the video would NOT play at all - however, I realised I had an old version of Ublock Origin, after updating (reinstalling) that the video played fine. -
Appreciate the feedback...
I updated to Win 10 Pro 1709 Build 16299.251 then rebooted.
Tab is not muted.
Vivaldi Tabs Settings - Tab Muting is set to "Play all audio"
Windows volume mixer shows active sound but there is still no audio on this page
UBlock Origin ver. is 1.15.2 which is latest in Chrome store. Tried with it disabled as well to no avail.Since others do not have an audio issue here can it be something in my Vivaldi settings?
-
Yes, tried Private window & disabling all extensions. Still no audio.
-
Completed reset, interesting result.
The audio in the ad that precedes the video in question plays fine, however the video itself still has no audio.
I rechecked and it still played fine in Firefox & Edge but when retrying in Chrome I have the same results as in Vivaldi: the preceding ad plays fine but the video itself does not.
Can this be an issue with the type of video, i.e. flash?
-
Hmmm. So back to square one?
-
Unfortunately, even after blocking there is still no audio
-
@dac One thing, are you logged in on that site? Should not matter, but our "checking" has all been as guest!?
Otherwise, could it be location related?
-
No, not logged in on Vivaldi or with the other browsers which do work.
-
This is definitely a Chrome/Vivaldi issue as it only occurs on these browsers for me. Here are a couple of other examples where there is no audio on either browser:

This works fine for me!?
Here I had to disable Ublock - but then it worked.

Maybe a hardware incompatibility? So you use GPU for Audio?
-
I disabled ublock in Vivaldi and it is not installed in Chrome - but still no audio. Could be hardware. GPU audio not activated though.

@dac Some time ago I found that not all of YouTube videos works 100% fine on my Vivaldi installation.
When I enabled showing video statistics / additional info I found that Vivaldi had problems with some certain audio codecs.
All of YouTube videos with this codec had no sound on my computer. But the majority of YouTube content worked fine (with audio)... -
