To run videos on web. Native Client Needed
-
When I tried to run a video it said that it requires chrome native client plugin but when I checked in settings> webpage > plugins there was no option like native clients
I am sending the image that contains the requirement issue
please see it and please fix it because I don't want to switch to Chrome just for a simple plugin issue -
Native client (NACL) is not implemented in Vivaldi - and probably won't work with (almost) any chromium based browser.
It works only with Chrome, I fear. -
@brijesh8291 said in i want to run the videos on web?but i can't??:
simple plugin issue
as @Hadden89 said, it's not just a "simple plugin issue", NaCl is not even a plugin, it's the entire Chrome sandbox, and is only available in Chrome and no other browser.
-
Is there any solution of that or just we gona switch to chome for NaCl
and Do you think that vivaldi developers would fix that NaCl problemplease reply
-
@brijesh8291 NaCl is deprecated. Like NPAPI flash, it will soon be unsupported in all browsers. In its place is WebAssembly, which major browsers support, and Vivaldi is more likely to support.
-
@ayespy till then how can i run videos on vivaldi if it requires NaCl
-
@brijesh8291 you can use chrome, or tell the people that run that site you're using to let other people see it even if you don't have chrome installed.
Being a site about android, it's bound to not happen, as they're looking at their own fanboys only. -
